DESIGN SIMULATIONS
See motion effects before production begins. Design simulations provide a realistic preview of how light and movement will interact across a surface, allowing designs to be evaluated and refined before die manufacturing. This helps reduce uncertainty, avoid unnecessary production costs, and streamline the development process.

THE MICROLINE TEST DIE™
The MicroLine Test Die™ is a 5" × 3" copper micro-embossing die featuring 15 line-quality variations based on the same motion-effect design.
​
By foil stamping the Test Die onto your chosen substrate, different line qualities can be evaluated before full production begins. This allows the line structure that produces the desired level of motion, detail, and visual performance to be identified before investing in a custom die.

Once the preferred line quality has been selected, the final design is developed using that specification and prepared for die production.

We had the privilege of adding our custom micro-embossing design work to the astonishing artwork of Joe Corroney for Topps’ 2018 Star Wars Galaxy trading cards. The finished sheet was cut into 6 individual trading cards and distributed all throughout the galaxy.
